This has been my personal journey, my experince. When I left Zimbabwe to study abroad, my parents were young, independent and able to work and take care of themselves. Life was easy for them and checking in on them was very easy. More than twenty years later, my parents are now in thier 80's, life hasn't been easy for them in Zimbabwe. Now it's up to us, their children to take care of them. The biggest challenge in taking care of my parents is my mom. My mom has full blown dementia. Taking care of her and my dad is a huge deal.
From frustration and the challenges on taking care of my parents, I struggled to find a way to make it work, to find a Centralized Home Care services, a Single point of contact and Accountability. From these frustrations, Tinashe Wangu Home Care, a comprehensive Home Care system was born from my experiences.
People living away from Zimbabwe who need to care for an aging relative back home, where services are difficult to arrange, and where the out-of-country child or relative needs to finance part of their relative’s life. At Tinashe Wangu you can hire maids full or part-time, housekeeping only, nurse aides or nurse full or part-time, depending on your needs. If your family member needs specific and more taylored care, family coordinators are available as a point of contact and to take care of all needs.
