Our nurse aides provide basic care and support. They perform duties such as monitoring of health status, measuring vital signs, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting. Our nurse aids well trained and are certified to assist nurses, and some are coming to us after working a hospital setting or nursing home.
Our nurses perfom all functions of a nurse aide and also provide help to elderly receiving occupational therapy by continuing the practice at home, taking them through various mobility, sight and memory exercises. provide basic care and support.
At Tinashe Wangu we have created a unique position, a Family Coordonator. When caring for your parents or your loved ones, a big challenge is how the care is all managed. For example, whether siblings agree in how to execute care for thier parents. Often challenges arise, differing opinions come up, disagreeemnts and sometimes tension. The key role of a Family Coordinator is to help the family manage and provide access to necessary supportive services. Including keeping an eye on that parents are being provided for, looked after properly.
